Protecting Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Chichester Harbour is one of the few remaining undeveloped coastal areas in southern England. Backed by the South Downs, the fingers of the estuary reach inland from the narrow harbour entrance, fringed by salt-marsh and wind-sculpted oaks. The Chichester Harbour Trust exists to ensure that the great beauty and tranquillity of this special place continues to be enjoyed now and in the future.
