With funding support from Chidham and Hambrook Parish Council, we have created a new information panel for the Dell, at Chidham. The panel tells visitors about the history of the site and the wildlife that can be found there. The Dell is a small woodland at Chidham Lane, looked after by the Chichester Harbour Trust, in partnership with Chichester Harbour Conservancy and volunteers from the Friends of Chichester Harbour. The new signs was installed by the Countryside Rangers as part of a regular volunteer work party - the team did a great job of clearing overgrown vegetation along the boundary, fuelled by enthusiasm and tea & biscuits!
